Singapore Flyer

We went up the Singapore Flyer this morning. There was a pretty good deal going on at the moment. Get 2 adult tickets at full price and 2 children go for free. It's quite a good deal since the kids tickets are more than 2/3 the price of an adult ticket. It looked really impressive from the ground.

The queue was pretty short which was a good thing. We weren't prepared to wait hours just to board the flyer. Each capsule was fairly big and spacious with seats. And it was most importantly, air-conditioned! I thought the ride was just right at half an hour a round. A bit overpriced but nice.

The view was magnificent. And it changed the whole time so we weren't bored at all. We got lots of great photos of Singapore from way up in the air. From the East to the Marina area, to the city skyline and the West. Very nice. It's one of those things where you go once and probably never return. But it's a definate must-go. I would say the evening/sunset photos would be much nicer but I think it would be very crowded as well. It would be nice at night too but almost impossible to capture on camera.
