Pasir Ris Park
During the weekend, we took Bryan to the park in Pasir Ris. I've noticed it on the map while travelling through Pasir Ris and I thought we should try it out since the beach/park at East Coast is always so crowded on weekends. It's very much quieter in the Pasir Ris Park. Just across the carpark, there is actually a housing estate. I didn't know there were houses next to the seaside in Pasir Ris.
Anyway, there is a rather modest beach there and a lovely place to walk/run/cycle in. There is even a cycle kiosk to rent bicycles. The best part of it is that there is a huge playground for the children of all ages to play in. The park caters for the young ones to the older ones. There are slides of different heights, sizes, types. There is even a huge spider web thing that kids can climb on. It reminded me of a park near the house in Malaysia that I grew up in.
Bryan had lots of fun. He tried the slides, and even walked up a shaky rope/suspension bridge. He walked down the beach, but the water looked rather polluted so we didn't go into it. There were three dogs swimming in the sea and he happily pointed them out. Then the sky started to get dark so we headed home. The weather's been rather odd lately. Raining on and off and it's not really the monsoon season yet.
