GST Increase

The first of July, marks the first day of the latest tax increase from the goverment. From 5% to 7%. That's 2 more dollars out of every 100 spent. Which means 2 more dollars out of our phone and cable and internet and country club bills. I don't even want to think about things like the annual road tax and insurance which comes up to a hefty $20 increase. But then there is also the drop in the levy for foreign domestic workers. So it evens out for me. I guess. I still feel like I'm getting the short end of the stick here.
