Watching Airplanes
We had a lovely morning together as a family. First was the morning swim. Gabriel went in too. He quietly watched Bryan swimming by himself in the big pool. And then waded in the baby pool. He found out that sitting on one step was very comfortable for him.
After that, we headed down to Changi Airport for lunch at the Soup Restaurant. It's quiet there over the weekend and definately not as busy as the other shopping centres. So I liked it. And the wide corridors were great for the kids to run around in. We went to the viewing gallery at Terminal 2. They've really vamped it up. It's now carpeted with lots of info about Changi Airport. For example, did you know it takes only 12 minutes for checked in baggage to get from the airplane to the conveyor belt? That's really fast.
Bryan enjoyed looking at the exhibits and learning new things. Like what fireproofing material feels like. Gabriel simply enjoyed looking out of the window onto the floor below and the airplanes outside.
